INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBR) is pleased to announce it will be offering its new course, Discovering Commercial Real Estate (DCRE), in Bloomington, Indiana, March 11, at Hyatt Place Bloomington.

Registration is now open and all real estate professionals; residential, commercial, ICBR member, non-member and even students, are encouraged to attend.

Offering four hours of continuing education (CEU), DCRE provides an overview of the basics of commercial real estate and how it differs from residential practices. First held in Indianapolis last fall, the course received positive feedback from attendees as a great introduction for those new to or thinking about joining the commercial real estate profession.

Through the course attendees will be able to distinguish and understand the commercial broker’s role and discover different types of commercial properties, terms, valuation methods, marketing and resources available for further education. DCRE is a great opportunity to expand professional understanding of the commercial real estate industry.
