Stephen E. Sterrett is the chief financial officer of Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group, Inc., a member of the S&P 500 and the largest U.S. publicly traded real estate company. Simon Property Group is engaged primarily in the ownership, development and management of retail real estate, primarily regional malls, Premium Outlet Centers® and community/lifestyle centers. The Company currently owns or has an interest in approximately 380 properties in the North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Sterrett joined the Simon organization in 1988, was named Treasurer in 1993, and has been the Chief Financial Officer since 2000.
